In 1958, Samick has been founded with ‘dedicate itself to the service of its country” spirit to promote musical instrument industry and now Samick has become Korea’s biggest instrument manufacturer as well as the world’s largest piano export company. The history of Samick piano is just the history of Korea. With advanced technology and superior quality, Samick has gradually become No. 1 comprehensive musical instrument company. In 1971, Samick has earned KS mark. Samick has always been dedicated to developing new products and quality, starting in 1983 with a technical cooperation with Klaus Fenner, a piano designer and technician from Germany. In 1985, the world-famous Fench magazine ‘Diapason’ gave Gold Medal to Samick in their “World Piano Quality Competition”. In February 1995, Samick has passed TUV test, the world-renowned German organization that tests products to safety standards, TUV (Technischer Überwachungs-Verein, Technical Inspection Association in English) and at that time, Samick has become No.1 in piano business; Samick has also earned “ISO 9002” international quality mark. In 2003, Korea Management Association has selected the digital piano, made by Samick, No.1 Korean Brand Product; moreover, other organizations has proved Samick products’ outstanding quality. In 2008, Samick has started to cooperate with the famous German piano manufacturer SEILER, became the world’s No. 5 piano manufacturer, with the high quality products, Samick has entered the legitimate oversea piano market.
